Welcome to the NWANT


The North Worcestershire Association was founded in 1994 with the aim of supporting the National Trust by entertaining local Trust members with talks, excursions and planned holidays.

Some 200 people from all over the county, including Redditch, Bromsgrove and Droitwich, are members.

Evening meetings with interesting speakers are held monthly from September to June in the Tardebigge Community Hall. Local walks and coach trips to places of interest are arranged all year round.

Talks and walks are well supported and the visits and holidays usually have waiting lists as they are excellent value.

All profits are given to the National Trust. The total raised to the end of 2016 is over £55,000. We mainly support local properties.

Next Meeting - December 20th - Mary Bodfish

From Christmas Past to Christmas Present. Behind all the elements of the great annual festival of family, feasting and fun as we celebrate it today is a history that stretches back through the Victorians, the Middle Ages and the the Romans - all the way to our most remote pagan ancestors.


Next Walk - Saturday 12th January 2019 - Penny Owens. Meet at The Golden Goose, Wild Goose Lane, Redditch B98 0DD. We will stop for a hot drink during the walk, at the Arrow Valley Visitor Centre.
