Welcome to the NWANT

The North Worcestershire Association was founded in 1994 with the aim of supporting the National Trust by entertaining local Trust members with talks, excursions and planned holidays.

Some 200 people from all over the county, including Redditch, Bromsgrove and Droitwich, are members.

Evening meetings with interesting speakers are held monthly from September to June in the Tardebigge Community Hall. Local walks and coach trips to places of interest are arranged all year round.

Talks and walks are well supported and the visits and holidays usually have waiting lists as they are excellent value.

All profits are given to the National Trust. The total raised to the end of 2018 is over £62,000. We mainly support local properties.

Next Event - The 2019 Annual Meal will be on Friday 8th November at Bromsgrove Golf Club at 12:45 pm for a 1:15 start.

Next Meeting - October 17th – “Wainwright’s Coast – Coast Walk” – Tony Caldwell - Tony invites us to walk with him on the famous walk – but from the other way round, i.e. East – West!

Next Walk - Saturday 9th November - Chris Bowers will lead the walk. Meet at Gardener’s Arms, Charlton, Pershore WR10 3JZ – please park tidily. A gentle undulating countryside walk using footpaths, bridleways and country roads, through paddocks, arable fields, orchards, plantations and pasture, using sections of Shakespeare’s Avon Way and skirting Cropthorne as we return. Could be muddy if wet. Five stiles.
