NWANT Meetings


These are held every third Thursday in the month at Tardebigge Community Hall, start at 7:30pm, and cost £2.00 per person.

These are the meetings planned for 2018 -

January 18th - Roger Pennell of the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust speaking about "My Wild Year" and showing us his pictures

February 15th - Ron Gallivan speaking on "India to UK - overland by Land Rover"

March 15th - AGM
. Speaker to be announced.

April 19th – “The Pride of the Place” - Canon Dr Terry R Slater. This talk is about the history of the Cathedral Church of St Philip, Birmingham 1715 – 1915. N.B THIS MEETING WILL START AT 7:00 PM

May 17th - “A stroll with Sabrina” –Sandy Cale – a talk which takes us along the length of the River Severn, with information and stories about the places on the way – sometimes funny and sometimes gruesome!

June 21st – “Woven in Kidderminster” – Melvyn Thompson. The history of the carpet industry in the Kidderminster area, including Stourport, Bewdley and Bridgnorth. An illustrated talk including samples, pictures, artefacts and good audience- participation.

July and August - NO MEETINGS.
